Back to India from my post-doctoral research in the last week of December 2011. Struggles to get an accommodation in Hyderabad in January. Stay at Guntur with my parents as no flats are vacant till February 2012. After a completely event less month at Guntur, about 300km from Hyderabad, I get a place to stay at Hyderabad. No position, no funding and I start off with my research thinking that I would complete the unfinished project at the least.  Its been about six months already and nothing moves in work or otherwise. Work stalls due to various reasons, or progress is so slow with out any results that I struggle to motivate myself to go on. R comes back to India in Febrauary 2012, a few days of happiness and then the routine starts. Wake up, cook breakfast and lunch, see off R, go to work, come back in the evening, dinner, wait, wait,.. and finally R comes after the date changes. A routine, I realise over the years, I have no capability of breaking. How is the weekend going to be ! I wonder on all the week days. A shimmer of hope still remains contrary to all my past experiences that R might probably be free this weekend and ..... comes up and tells me I am free this weekend, shall we travel some where...Did that happen earlier? not that I can remember of..Is this dreaded routine of life going to be the same even in the times to come ? not that I have a hope that it would be otherwise. .Why did I start this blog with such super boring post of mine is some thing I yonder..well no one said posts are to show only the beautiful places or beautiful moments or beautiful people. But after I vent up my frustration/anger about my eventless life, I am ready now to try and change every thing that needs to be changed about me and my life. After a brief stopover for six months (in the mind ofcourse) , I want to start off with my journey called 'life'. The simple pleasures in life like a brief photowalk in the city, a plant in my balcony garden that started to bloom, a short living result in my research that says I am in the right direction or even sipping a hot cup of coffee overlooking my office window will be chronicled in this very blog. Do I want any audience, heck 'NO'!!! this blog will be strictly by me, for me. By no means I am expecting this to be a popular blog, but if any random bystander likes to comment in making my simple pleasures in life all the more pleasurable, they are welcome big time!!.  I sign off for today with this photo for any one who chances upon this blog...
